NOTHING BUT BLUE
NOTHING BUT BLUE is a 16-minute short film about German Olympic surfer Tim Elter and his uncompromising passion for tube riding – one of the rawest and dangerous forms of surfing.
Far from competitions and podiums, the film paints an intimate portrait of a young elite athlete searching not only for freedom in the rush of the waves but also for himself.
On a spontaneous trip to Ireland, Tim takes on the infamous wave “Aileen’s” – and reveals a side of himself few have ever seen: vulnerable, reflective, and driven by a paradoxical addiction to danger.
